Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 3 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese
- cracker crumbs - 1 c
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- dash of black pepper - 1 item
- yellow squash - 2 lb
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash and onion until tender. Remove from heat. Add salt, pepper and butter. Add cracker crumbs, half the grated cheese, milk and egg. Stir until well blended.Pour into a greased casserole. Sprinkle with remaining grated cheese over top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Yields 8 servings.
