Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- medium yellow squash, sliced - 6 item
- can green chilies, chopped - 1 oz
- Velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes - 1/2 lb
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash and onion in small amount of water until tender; drain. Mix in cheese and chilies. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour into buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle bread crumbs over top. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
