Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- chopped onions - 2 item
- cream of chicken soup - 2 c
- squash - 3 lb
- corn bread stuffing mix - 1 pkg
- small can pimentos - 1 item
- medium grated carrots - 4 item
How to make squash casserole:
Salt and cook sliced squash and onions over medium heat with no water. Mash and drain. Add sour cream, pimentos, soup and carrots. Melt 1 stick margarine and mix with stuffing. Line bottom of casserole dish with stuffing. Pour other ingredients over top. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes. Serves 12.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
