Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- cheese, grated - 1/2 lb
- squash - 2 lb
- large carrots, grated - 2 item
- herb stuffing mix - 1/2 pkg
How to make summer squash casserole:
Cook squash until tender; combine with onions, soup and sour cream. Melt margarine and mix with half of stuffing. Place on bottom of 9 x 13-inch or 3-quart baking dish. Add half of the squash mixture. Sprinkle cheese on top. Add remaining squash and top with remaining stuffing. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°. Serves 10.Recipe categories: Squash, Vegetables, Casseroles.
