Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- margarine
- pepper - 1 item
- garlic salt - 1 item
- parsley flakes - 1 item
- sliced zucchini - 2 c
- oregano - 1 item
- sliced carrots - 1 c
- Monterey Jack cheese, shredded - 1 c
How to make zucchini carrot casserole:
White Sauce:2 Tbsp. margarine2 Tbsp. flour1/4 tsp. salt1 c. milk Saute carrots and zucchini in 1/2 stick of margarine in skillet until tender (15 minutes) over medium heat. Sprinkle with seasonings to taste. In casserole dish, layer vegetables with cheese. Top with White Sauce. Bake in covered dish at 350° for 30 minutes.White Sauce: Combine ingredients in saucepan, stirring constantly; heat until thickened.
