Ingredients/Components
- yellow squash, cooked, drained and mashed - 2 lb
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- white sauce - 2 c
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- milk - 2 c
- sharp cheese - 1/2 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- some grated onion - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Add all of mixture to squash and cook in a double boiler 1 hour, then put in casserole and bake 30 minutes in oven. Sprinkle with bread crumbs, if desired.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
