Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- medium mushrooms, sliced - 4 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 oz
- Tabasco sauce - 1 tsp
- onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, finely chopped - 1 item
- salt and black pepper to taste - 1 item
- stalk celery, minced - 1 item
- medium to large shrimp, peeled and deveined - 2 lb
How to make shrimp creole:
Use large skillet or Dutch oven. Brown flour in oil. Add onion, green pepper, celery, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce and all other ingredients, except for mushrooms. Bring to simmer for 20 minutes. Add shrimp and mushrooms. Simmer for another 20 minutes. Serve over steamed white rice. Garnish with minced green onion.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
