Ingredients/Components

  • granulated sugar - 1/3 c
  • vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • large egg - 1 item
  • large eggs - 2 item
  • pumpkin pie spice - 1 tsp
  • light corn syrup
  • pecan halves - 1 c
  • unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell - 1 item

How to make pumpkin pecan pie:

Pecan Layer:2/3 c. light corn syrup3 Tbsp. butter1/2 c. granulated sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla extract2 large eggs1 c. pecan halves In a medium bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, egg and pumpkin pie spice; stir well. Spread over bottom of pie shell. Using same bowl, combine corn syrup, sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla. Stir in nuts. Spoon mixture over pumpkin layer. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
