  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1/3 c
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1/4 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • all-purpose flour - 3/4 c
  • unsweetened chocolate - 2 oz
  • unsweetened chocolate, chopped - 2 oz
  • light corn syrup - 1 Tbsp
  • creamy peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • unsalted butter - 1/2 c
  • In double boiler over simmering water, melt chocolate, peanut butter and butter

How to make peanut butter brownies:

Preheat oven to 350°. In double boiler over simmering water, melt chocolate, peanut butter and butter. Set aside to cool. Beat together eggs, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in the chocolate mixture. Stir in flour, salt and sour cream. Pour batter into a greased and floured 8-inch square pan. Bake for 30 minutes and cool.Chocolate Icing:1 c. sugar1 Tbsp. light corn syrup1/3 c. milk2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, chopped2 Tbsp. butter1/2 tsp. vanilla In a small, heavy saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, milk and chocolate. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook to a soft ball stage (about 237°). Remove from heat. Beat in butter and vanilla. Spread over cooled brownies. Cut into bars. Makes about 18 brownies.
