Chocolate chunk pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- large eggs - 3 item
- light corn syrup - 1 c
- stick melted margarine - 1/2 item
- unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell - 1 item
- semi-sweet chocolate chunks - 3/4 c
- pecan halves, coarsely chopped - 1 c
How to make chocolate chunk pecan pie:
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine eggs, corn syrup, sugar, margarine and vanilla extract in medium bowl with a wire whisk. Stir in pecans. Sprinkle chunks over bottom of crust. Pour pecan mixture into pie shell. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted 2-inches from center comes out with little bits of filling attached. If browning to quickly, cover with foil.
