Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2/3 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • cold water - 1 c
  • whipping cream - 1/2 pt
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • Knox gelatine - 2 pkg
  • large can crushed pineapple - 1 item

How to make pineapple cream cheese salad:

Dissolve gelatine in one cup cold water. Set aside. Mix pineapple, sugar and lemon juice in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add the gelatine and let cool. Whip the whipping cream together with the cream cheese and add to the cooled pineapple mixture. Pour into a 9 x 12-inch pan and chill until firm.
