Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
- sorghum molasses - 2 Tbsp
- sugar I like brown - 3/4 c
- whole canned milk or half and half
How to make cushaw pie:
Mix sugar, flour and spices. Stir into eggs. Add cushaw, molasses and milk. Stir well to blend. Pour into unbaked 9-inch crust. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350°. Bake 30 minutes longer or until crust is golden brown.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Low sodium, Low in....
