Barbecued spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar
- water
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- spaghetti sauce mix - 1 pkg
- seasoned salt and pepper - 1 item
- ribs, cut in serving portions - 3 lb
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Season ribs with seasoned salt and pepper. Roast in shallow covered pan about 1 hour at 375°. Drain off fat. Make spaghetti sauce mix as directed on package, using tomato sauce and omit oil. Add remaining ingredients; simmer 15 minutes. Pour over ribs; continue roasting, uncovered, about 1 hour at 350°. Baste several times.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Meat, Pork.
