- flank steak, thinly sliced - 1 to
- medium onion - 1 item
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- brown gravy mix - 1 pkg
- water
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- large green peppers - 2 item
- large tomato - 1 item
- cooked rice - 1 item
How to make pepper steak:
Thinly slice flank steak, diagonally. Brown with chopped onion in oil. Stir in a mixture of brown gravy mix, water and soy sauce. Stir until thickened. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add green bell peppers (cut in thin strips) and tomato (cut in wedges). Simmer 10 minutes. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
