Chicken tetrazzini
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chicken broth - 1 c
- milk or heavy cream - 1 c
- cooking sherry - 1 2
- can mushrooms - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- cubed chicken or turkey - 2 c
How to make chicken tetrazzini:
Melt butter. Blend in flour and seasonings. Cook until smooth and bubbly. Heat to boil and continue boiling for 1 minute. Stir in sherry, spaghetti, chicken and mushrooms. Stir in Parmesan cheese. Top with shredded cheese. Bake at 350° until hot and bubbly. Great for leftover turkey or chicken.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
