  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • small head lettuce, chopped - 1 item
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • hot sauce - 1 item
  • can pinto beans - 1 item
  • or 2 tomatoes, chopped - 1 item
  • yellow cheese, shredded - 1 pkg
  • large bottle French dressing - 1 item
  • medium bag tortilla chips - 1 item

How to make mexican chef salad:

Break tortilla chips into pieces in a large bowl. Brown beef. Drain. Add to chips. Add dressing, cheese, onion, tomatoes, lettuce, beans and sprinkle 1/2 cup hot sauce. Mix all ingredients well. Serve with tortilla chips. Refrigerate leftovers and serv
