Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- hot water - 3/4 c
- baking molasses - 1/2 c
How to make gingerbread:
Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs. Sift dry ingredients together and add with hot water. Mix. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
