Creamy potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- chopped onion - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 oz
- parsley - 2 tsp
- cubed potatoes - 2 c
- soup cans milk - 2 item
- slices bacon - 6 item
How to make creamy potato soup:
In saucepan, cook bacon until crisp. Set bacon aside. Pour off all but 3 tablespoons drippings from saucepan. Add onion; brown. Add potatoes and water. Cook, covered, about 15 minutes or until potatoes are done. Blend in chicken soup, milk and salt. Heat, but do not boil. To serve, garnish with crisp bacon, sliced or crumbled, and parsley flakes.
