Clam chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 1/2
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- cubed potatoes - 2 c
- slices bacon, cut up - 8 item
- cans minced/chopped clams and juice - 3 item
How to make clam chowder:
Fry bacon until crisp in 3-quart pan. Add onion; saut?© 2 or 3 minutes. Pour off fat. Add potatoes and clam juice; bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes until potatoes are tender. Stir in soup and sour cream. Gradually add milk. Add clams, salt, pepper and parsley. Stir until clams are hot. DO NOT BOIL!! Add dash of garlic salt and dash of Worcestershire sauce.
