Potato bacon soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- chopped onion - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 1/2
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- cubed potatoes - 2 c
- slices bacon, cut up - 8 item
How to make potato bacon soup:
Fry bacon, until crisp, in a 3-quart pan. Add onion and saute two or three minutes. Pour off fat. Add potatoes and water and simmer 10 to 15 minutes until tender. Stir in soup, sour cream, salt and parsley. Gradually add milk. Heat to serving temperature. Do not boil. Yields 7 cups.Recipe categories: Side dish, Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups.
