Baked potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- instant potato flakes or granules - 1/4 c
- chicken broth - 2 c
- oleo or butter - 1/4 c
- all purpose flour - 1/2 c
- milk - 3 c
- large baked potatoes with skin, diced - 3 item
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- white pepper - 1/4 tsp
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped chives - 5 Tbsp
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- salt to taste - 1 item
How to make baked potato soup:
Combine potato flakes with chicken broth. Melt oleo in saucepan; add flour and cook, stirring until flour is lightly browned. Slowly stir in milk; keep stirring to make medium white sauce. Add potato broth mixture and diced potatoes. Add garlic powder, peppers, chives, parsley and salt.
