Crabmeat au gratin
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- onion, chopped - 1/2 item
- crabmeat - 2 c
- buttered bread crumbs - 1 item
- shredded cheese - 1/2 c
- green pepper, minced - 1/2 item
How to make crabmeat au gratin:
Melt butter; add pepper and onion. Cook for 5 minutes. Add flour and milk, then crabmeat and salt. Cook for 10 minutes. Pour in shallow buttered baking dish or use crab shells. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350° until cheese is brown.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crab.
