Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- melted butter - 3 Tbsp
- diced green pepper - 1/4 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- minced onion - 1/4 c
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- cooked shrimp
- cooked rice
- Worcestershire - 1/4 tsp
- canned tomatoes
- small sprig parsley - 1 item
How to make shrimp creole:
Saute green pepper, onion and celery in butter until tender, about 5 minutes. Add flour and blend. Add tomatoes gradually; stir constantly. Add salt, pepper, sugar, bay leaf and parsley. Cook gently 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf and parsley. Add shrimp and Worcestershire sauce. Heat. Serve Shrimp Creole over rice.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
