Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- half and half - 2/3 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped celery - 1/3 c
- thinly sliced onion - 1 c
- sharp Cheddar cheese, grated - 2 c
- 1/2 lb - 1 c
- 9-inch unbaked pastry shell - 1 item
How to make crab quiche:
Saute onion and celery in butter until golden and soft. Spoon alternate layers of crab, cheese and onion/celery into pie shell. Beat together eggs, cream, salt and pepper. Pour into filled pastry shell. Bake in hot oven at 400° until firm, approximately 30 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Shellfish, Crab.
