Pecan brittle
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- corn syrup - 1 c
- pecans - 2 c
How to make pecan brittle:
Cook sugar, corn syrup and water to 260°. Add pecans and salt and cook to 290°. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and add butter and soda. Stir well and quickly. Pour in two cookie sheets, buttered. When cool, break as desired.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Fruit.
