Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- unbaked pie shell - 1 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- ground beef - 1/4 lb
- thinly sliced onion - 1 c
- Cheddar cheese, sliced or shredded - 2 c
How to make beef pie:
Saute beef and onion in butter until onion is tender. Blend in flour, salt, pepper, milk, eggs and sauce. Add 1 cup of Cheddar cheese. Pour into pie shell; sprinkle remaining cheese over top. Bake at 425° for 20 or 25 minutes. Allow to cool 20 minutes before serving. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Stew.
