Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • unbaked pie shell - 1 item
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • ground beef - 1/4 lb
  • thinly sliced onion - 1 c
  • Cheddar cheese, sliced or shredded - 2 c

How to make beef pie:

Saute beef and onion in butter until onion is tender. Blend in flour, salt, pepper, milk, eggs and sauce. Add 1 cup of Cheddar cheese. Pour into pie shell; sprinkle remaining cheese over top. Bake at 425° for 20 or 25 minutes. Allow to cool 20 minutes before serving. Serves 6 to 8.
