Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1 item
- pepper - 1 item
- olive oil - 2 3
- pinch of oregano - 1 item
- seasoned salt - 1/2 tsp
- Marsala wine - 1/2 c
- chicken breasts, skinned, boned, halved and flattened - 4 item
- sliced mushrooms and almonds optional - 1 item
How to make chicken marsala:
Dredge chicken in flour with salt and pepper. Shake in bag. Sprinkle on oregano and squeeze lemon juice over chicken. When browned on both sides, add lemon, wine or sherry. Cover. If breasts are flattened, cook for about 10 minutes to make sure they are done, 30 minutes for regular breasts. Add mushrooms and almonds last 5 minutes.
