Ingredients/Components
- sliced almonds - 1/4 c
- mayonnaise - 2 c
- celery, diced - 4 c
- onion, minced - 1/4 c
- Cheddar cheese, diced
- chicken, cooked and cut into bite-size pieces - 4 c
- dry seasoned stuffing mix Pepperidge Farm is best - 2 c
How to make hot chicken salad:
Mix everything except stuffing mix. Layer 1/2 stuffing mix (dry) on bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Next, layer all the chicken mixture. Top with the rest of stuffing mix. Bake, uncovered, at 375° until hot, about 50 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
