Indian chicken curry
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 2 tsp
- water
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- curry powder - 1 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 8 oz
- onion, chopped
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- small garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- cooked chicken breasts, skinned, boned and shredded into large chunks - 3 c
How to make indian chicken curry:
Melt butter; add onion and garlic and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients (except cooked chicken). Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add chicken; cover and heat. Serve over hot rice.Variation: 1 1/2 pounds cooked shrimp, or 3 cups cooked lamb.
