Carrot souffle
Ingredients/Components
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- cooked, mashed carrots - 1 c
- grated onions - 1 Tbsp
- shredded cheese - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
How to make carrot souffle:
Soak crumbs in milk for 10 minutes. Grease a 1-quart casserole. Combine crumbs, egg yolks, carrots, onion, cheese, salt and pepper. Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry. Fold into carrot mixture.
