Carrot souffle
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 C
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 3/4 C
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- melted margarine - 1/2 C
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- vinegar - 1/4 C
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- ketchup - 1/3 C
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- can kidney beans - 1 item
- can lima beans - 1 item
- cans butter beans - 2 item
- can pork & beans - 1 item
- carrots or 2 C - 1 lb
- bacon, browned and chopped - 1/2 lb
How to make carrot souffle:
Brown onion and bacon.Simmer brown sugar, vinegar, ketchup and mustard for 15 minutes.
Mix all beans, bacon & onions with the brown sugar mixture in a crock pot.
Cook for 1 - 2 hours. Stir occasionally. Add reserved liquid if needed!
