Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- buttermilk - 2 c
- shortening - 3/4 c
- self-rising flour
- warm water - 1/4 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make angel flake biscuits:
Dissolve yeast in warm water; mix with buttermilk. Sift flour and sugar together. Mix all ingredients as you would regular biscuits. (Can keep in refrigerator for days.)
