Ingredients/Components

  • sliced or chopped zucchini - 3 c
  • hamburger - 1/2 lb
  • green peppers, hot pepper and onion if desired - 1 item
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • butter - 1 item
  • bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • grated cheese - 1/2 c

How to make zucchini casserole:

Brown burger in skillet. Add zucchini, peppers and onion. Cook until tender. Drain. Add egg and milk. Put half of mixture into buttered baking dish. Sprinkle half of crumbs and cheese. Add rest of mixture then remaining crumbs and cheese. Dot with butter. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
