Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- box 10x sugar - 1 item
- cubes margarine - 2 item
- Frosting:1 cube margarine
How to make texas sheet cake:
Frosting:1 cube margarine6 Tbsp. milk1 c. chopped nuts4 Tbsp. cocoa1 box 10x sugar Cake: Sift together flour, sugar and salt. Bring to a light boil the water, margarine and cocoa. Add eggs, sour cream and baking soda. Combine with flour mixture and mix well. Pour into a 10 1/2 x 18 x 1-inch coffee sheet and bake at 400° for 20 minutes.Frosting: Bring to a light boil margarine, cocoa and milk. Remove from stove and add 10x sugar and nuts. Beat well and pour over cake as soon as it is removed from oven!
