Yellow squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped pimentos - 1 Tbsp
- bell pepper, chopped - 1/4 c
- shredded mild cheese - 1/2 c
- or 4 yellow squash, thinly sliced - 3 item
How to make yellow squash casserole:
Pour melted butter into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Add squash and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine egg, mayonnaise, green pepper, onion, pimentos and sugar. Mix well and pour over squash. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 mRecipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Low calorie, Cheese.
