Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- mayonnaise - 2/3 c
- chopped pimento - 1 Tbsp
- shredded mild cheese - 1/2 c
- melted butter/margarine - 1/4 c
- yellow squash, thinly sliced - 1 lb
How to make yellow squash casserole:
Pour melted butter into a 1 1/2 quart casserole; add squash and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine egg, mayonnaise, green pepper, onion, pimento and sugar; mix well and pour over squash.
