French toast
Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1/3 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- slices white bread - 6 item
- stick butter - 1/2 item
How to make french toast:
Break egg into bowl. Mix milk, sugar, salt and vanilla with the egg. Beat this mixture until egg yolk is blended with white, but not frothy. Place frying pan on medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons butter to melt and cover bottom of pan. Dip pieces of bread into egg mixture. Place into skillet. Fry until golden brown. Turn and brown on the other side.
