Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 3/4 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • powdered sugar
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • additional chopped nuts - 1 item
  • can crushed pineapple include juice - 1 oz

How to make swedish nut cake:

Frosting:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1/2 c. margarine1 tsp. vanilla1 3/4 c. powdered sugar additional chopped nuts Cake: Mix cake ingredients with a fork in ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan until well blended. Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.

Frosting: Blend cream cheese, margarine, vanilla and powdered sugar. Frost cake while still warm. Sprinkle with additional chopped nuts.
