- sour cream - 1 (8
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- stick butter or oleo - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can sliced water chestnuts - 1 oz
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- summer squash - 2 lb
- herb dressing - 1 pkg
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash, onion and salt in small amount of water until tender. Add cream of chicken soup, sour cream and water chestnuts. Melt butter or oleo and mix herb dressing together. Put 1/2 of herb dressing in bottom of baking dish. Add squash mixture. Cover with remaining dressing. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
