Ingredients/Components
- carton sour cream - 8 oz
- egg - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- slices American cheese - 4 item
- grated onion - 1 item
- stick melted butter or margarine - 1 item
- cooked squash - 2 c
- seasoned Pepperidge Farm dressing mix - 1 pkg
How to make squash casserole:
Mix squash, sour cream, onion, soup and egg. Melt butter and mix with dressing. Mix 1/2 of dressing mixture with first mixture and place in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish. Add strips of cheese on top of mixture. Add remaining dressing on top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
