Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- grated cheese - 1 c
- cracker crumbs - 1 c
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- squash, cooked and drained - 3 c
- stick oleo - 1/2 item
- large bell pepper - 1 item
- can celery soup - 1/2 item
- can chopped celery - 1/2 item
How to make squash casserole:
Parboil squash until tender. Saute onion, celery and pepper in oleo. Add squash to this. Add eggs and cream of celery soup. Mix with cracker crumbs. Place in casserole and bake at 350° for 25 minutes, then add grated cheese on top and return to oven for 8 minutes longer.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
