Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- medium onion - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese
- squash
How to make squash casserole:
Cut squash in slices. Put in pan with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 stick butter. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook until tender and drain. Mix bread crumbs, beaten egg and sugar, then add to cooked squash. Pour into baking dish. Cover top with cheese. Bake in 350° oven until cheese melts.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
