Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- to 8 medium squash - 6 item
How to make squash casserole:
Cream together egg and mushroom soup. Cut up squash; cook until tender and all the water has cooked out of them. Add margarine (1/2 of margarine), salt, pepper, onion and mushroom soup with egg mixture. Let cook a little longer. Pour into casserole dish (spray with Pam). Crush enough Ritz crackers to cover top and melt margarine (1/2 stick) and pour over top. Cook at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
