Spiced pecans
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- pecans - 1 qt
- egg white, slightly whipped - 1 item
How to make spiced pecans:
Add nuts to slightly whipped egg white. Stir until nuts are well coated. If necessary, add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon water. Mix sugar, cinnamon and salt. Pour over nuts and mix. Spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 300° for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Will stick a little. Cool a minute. Scrape off onto wax paper.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Appetizers.
