Chili con queso
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- can green chilies, seeded and chopped - 1 oz
- can tomatoes, well drained and cut up - 1 lb
- Velveeta cheese, grated or cut into chunks - 2 lb
How to make chili con queso:
Brown onion in butter; add tomatoes and chilies. Add cheese and stir until melted. (For extra zip, add some jalapeno relish or Tabasco sauce.) Keep warm in chafing dish. Serve with taco chips or bread sticks for dipping.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Dips.
