Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion
- chopped celery - 3/4 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- diced green pepper - 3/4 c
- can whole tomatoes - 1 oz
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- sugar - 1 tsp
- paprika - 1 tsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- to 6 drops Tabasco sauce - 3 item
- fresh shrimp, shelled and deveined - 1 lb
How to make shrimp creole:
Combine all ingredients except shrimp in crock-pot; stir to blend well. Cover; cook on low 7 to 9 hours (high 3 to 4 hours). During last hour, turn crock-pot to high and add shrimp. Cook 1 hour or until shrimp turn pink. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
