Ingredients/Components

  • chopped onion
  • chopped celery - 3/4 c
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • diced green pepper - 3/4 c
  • can whole tomatoes - 1 oz
  • cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • to 6 drops Tabasco sauce - 3 item
  • fresh shrimp, shelled and deveined - 1 lb

How to make shrimp creole:

Combine all ingredients except shrimp in crock-pot; stir to blend well. Cover; cook on low 7 to 9 hours (high 3 to 4 hours). During last hour, turn crock-pot to high and add shrimp. Cook 1 hour or until shrimp turn pink. Makes 6 servings.
