Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- parsley flakes - 2 Tbsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- 6 oz - 1 c
- can tomatoes - 1 lb
- bacon - 1/2 lb
How to make lentil soup:
Combine lentils, parsley, salt and bay leaf in large saucepan. Add water. Cover and cook slowly 1 hour or until lentils are tender. (More water may be needed during cooking.)
