Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- hot cooked rice - 1 item
- cayenne - 1/8 tsp
- fresh medium shrimp, peeled and deveined - 1 lb
- can whole tomatoes, drained - 1 oz
How to make shrimp creole:
In a 2-quart casserole, combine celery, green pepper, onion, oil and garlic. Microwave on High for 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring 2 times. Add remaining ingredients except shrimp and rice. Stir to blend and break apart tomatoesRecipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
