Salmon burgers
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- can salmon, drained and flaked - 1 lb
- crushed potato chips - 1 c
How to make salmon burgers:
Melt butter or margarine in a heavy skillet. Add chopped onion and cook over medium heat until tender. Remove from heat and place in a mixing bowl. Add 1/2 cup potato chips, egg, salt and salmon. Mix well. Shape mixture into six patties. Coat with remaining potato chips.Heat oil in a skillet. Add patties; fry on one side until golden brown, turn and fry on the other side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve on toasted hamburger buns. Serves 6.
