Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- butter - 1/2 c
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- pepper - 1 item
- fine bread crumbs - 1 c
- fish fillets or pieces - 8 item
How to make oven fried fish:
Place butter in baking dish and place in preheated moderate oven (375°). Watch carefully while melting butter. Dip fish in beaten egg, then in crumbs. Coat well. Place each fillet in butter, turning to coat evenly. Season to taste. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Main dish, Fish, Seafood.
